Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of her life with a Mass on Wednesday, January 21st at 10 am at St. ![]() She is dancing with the angels now in her pill box hat with matching purse and shoes – her family will miss her terribly but will never forget. She touched the lives of everyone she met by being a strong, courageous woman who raised three children on her own – all without ever having a driver’s license. Dorothy loved dancing, elephants and being with her family. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be remembered by her great-great grandchildren Jacob & Peyton Tompkins, Bryson & Emery Morton. She will be remember by great-grandchildren Jordan Hollis, Lindsey (Adam) Tompkins, Thaylia Degner, Miranda Moyer, Ashley (Chris) Holmes, Kelsey and Ryan Stepp, Courtney (Kerry) Shackleford, Robert & Emily DeWitt, Emma, Norbert IV, Martin & Joshua Schmeidler and Lauren Schmeidler. She will be remembered by grandchildren Jill (Greg) Roethlesberger, Kelly Kippes, William Moyer, Norbert III (Jennifer) Schmeidler, Cathy (Mark)Pratt, Carol (Dennis) Thomas, Christy (Robert) DeWitt and Cheryl Schmeidler. Dorothy will be remembered by her children Bill Moyer and Sharon (Norbert Jr.)Schmeidler. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, John Moyer. She retired with Dillons after 32 years of employment. She was one of nine children born to the late John and Edna Nauert. ![]() Dorothy was born in Macksville, KS and grew up in Larned, KS. ![]() Heaven gained another angel as Dorothy passed away peacefully at her home in Wichita.
